Solutions Architect

Solutions Architect responsibilities include:

• Lead the discovery, scoping, solution design, and estimation of integration projects, ensuring solutions are scalable, supportable, and aligned with customer and business objectives.

• Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for the PortX integration platform and end-to-end integration processes, providing technical guidance across the project lifecycle.

• Engage directly with customers throughout both pre-sales and delivery, building trusted relationships, understanding business requirements, and translating them into effective solutions.

• Provide technical leadership and architectural governance, ensuring implementation quality, adherence to best practices, and alignment with established standards.

• Mentor and coach both PortX and customer development teams, enabling them to deliver high-quality integrations while developing their technical capabilities.

• Establish and mature delivery squads that can independently design, build, and support PortX integrations with progressively less reliance on Solutions Architects.

• Facilitate customer workshops, architecture reviews, whiteboarding sessions, and executive presentations to communicate solution designs and technical strategy clearly.

• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance integration patterns, delivery methodologies, tooling, documentation, and reusable assets.

• Lead by example through hands-on problem solving, collaboration, and a customer-first mindset.

Ideal technical skills and experience include:

• Strong enterprise integration implementation experience, API’s, ESB’s etc.

• Solid Java development skills and experience, as main language

• Hands-on skills and experience leveraging AI productivity tools 

• Solid skills and experience with containerization

• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot framework

• Experience with consuming web services

• Hands-on experience with deploying to AWS platform

• Hands-on experience with GIT and Maven

• Knowledge and experience with Banking or Payments is an advantage
